Model: TL-PA7017P KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi there!

So I recently bought the PA7017P kit to try them out and see if it could improve my wifi after upgrading my broadband speed to M500. My setup is the VM Hub 3 (modem mode) into my Linksys MR9000 router and then I had 3 WHW03 nodes around the house. I ended up using the powerline kit to move my main router from the room it was in to the hallway which ended up doubling wifi performance while making 2 nodes redundant (nice). This was done after testing ALL the plugs in my house (I literally went to every single plug and tested what was the most optimal pair of plugs to use)

My issue comes from the fact that while I'm paying for 500mbps down, the powerline kit only gets to a max of 310mbps to the MR9000 router. Still fast and good but I want as fast internet as possible. So then I saw that there were more expensive PA kits. If I replaced the 7017P kit with the 9020P kit, would I see a speed improvement? If not, what's the point in getting a more expensive powerline kit then?

I ran the app thingamajig thing from the download center and this is what it comes up with for speed. It says it's capable of 882mbps yet I get 310?
