I have an archer c7 tp link router tethered to my main archer c1200 tp link router. I am using the tp link app Tether to try and reset my password but the app wont recognize the c7. Any suggestions?

Can you confirm how is the C7 connected to the C1200, and what is the working mode, is it Router mode or Access Point mode? Does the Tether app recognize the C1200 fine?
