Model: Archer A2
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.5.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 210914 Rel.59719n

Hello,

I have configured in the LAN Settings tab the IP address of my network : 192.168.3.1

I have programmed an automatic reboot (one per week) to reset the memory.

After a reboot, the IP address of my network is changed (some time restored to 192.168.1.1, or 192.168.0.1) ... result: impossible to access some equipments.

Another poblem is that after a reboot, the IP address to access the configuration screen of the MR600 is not the same: sometimes it is 192.168.0.1, sometimes 192.168.1.1.

Can you give me the solution to avoid this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Marc

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

Please help to confirm the following details:

1. Is it working on 3G/4G Router mode or wireless router mode? and who is the ISP?

2. Does the problem happen one every automatic reboot? or only randomly happens?

3. If you reboot the device manually, will the problem happen as well?

4. When the LAN IP address changes, will all the other settings change back to default settings as well? such as wireless network name and password etc.?

Hi, thank you very much for the reply.

Since it is in Wireless Router mode, it should be connected to a modem/router in the front, please check if there is any IP conflict, and if the front modem/router LAN IP address changes sometimes.

When the WAN IP address of the router conflicts with LAN IP address, the router will change its LAN IP address automatically. If there is no any conflict but problem still happens randomly, please don't reset the device next time, instead, you could use tplinkmodem.net or the new LAN IP address to login the web interface, then please save a system log file and send it to us.

  @Sunshine

Hello

The LAN IP from the ISP modem/router (WAN) is set at 192.168.0.x (range start from 192.168.0.10 to 192.168.0.50)

The LAN IP from MR600 is 192.168.3.x

There is no conflict between WAN and MR600 IP range.

When MR600 change randomly his IP range (this is the troubleshooting), it is impossible to log to the web interface : both 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.3.1 are not useable

It's a pity :( The only solution to access to the web interface is to force a hard reset MR600 ...

Another think : i never access to the web portail by tplinkmodem.net  : it does'nt work

Thank you for your support.

Regards.

Marc

Hi,Please make sure that your ISP modem/router is connected to the LAN4/WAN port of the MR600.

When the problem happens next time, don't reset it, please connect a computer to the MR600 and check IP address/default gateway on the computer:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/838/

If using the default gateway of computer cannot open web interface of the MR600, please try to ping the default gateway to see if ping works:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/425/

After the above troubleshooting, please connect the same computer to your ISP modem/router and check the IP address and default gateway again on the computer for comparison.

  @Sunshine

Hello,

The ISP modem/router is connected to the LAN4/WAN port of the MR600.

I already do your solution : connect a PC to the MR600, before that, i rebooted my PC to catch the new IP from TP-LINK wiki.

No way ... IP given by MR600 is 192.168.0.x but impossible to access at the web interface (could be 192.168.0.1 in this case but no ...)

So i propose to test your proposition the last time.

In parallel, i activated the "Remote management" to try to accessthe MR600 web interface by an another way.

Stay tune.

Regards

  @ZacMarc

Hello,

The problem has just happened again ...
As you suggested, I did not reset the configuration to factory mode but tried to access the portal by any other means.
Which I managed to do.
The configuration was changed, I don't know which way, back to 192.168.1.x instead of 192.168.3.x
I set the desired default conf back (192.168.3.1),
I took the opportunity to change the primary DNS ,
then saved ... the modem rebooted
Once the modem was restarted, no modification was recorded...
I'm not sure if there is a problem with the flash memory that saves the settings, which is randomly defective?

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

By "Once the modem was restarted, no modification was recorded...", do you mean all the configurations are lost after the modem restarted? except for the Router LAN IP address, other settings changed back to default settings or not?

When the device is working fine, if you reboot it manually, will the problem happen again? (Previously you mentioned that manual reboot will not trigger the issue, but would like to confirm if it is still the same now)
