Archer A10 keeps dropping
My router keeps dropping its connection to my modem/isp. I've had many calls with my provider and they even helped me check firmware and it's up to date. They have walked me thru resetting it even. However my connevtion keeps dropping. Only way to get back connection is to unplug router and plug back in but then it will drop again less than 24 hrs later. Router is maybe 6 months old.

Hi,
Is your A10 connecting to the Internet via PPPoE or Dynamic IP?
If it's PPPoE, then check if your router has some settings for the connection like "On Demand", "Always On", "Manual" or "Idle Time" that could affect how and when the router connects and disconnects.
If it's Dynamic IP, then I would switch to "Static IP" instead and configure the required fields accordingly.
With "Dynamic IP" the router gets its IP address "leased" by the modem's DHCP. Leases expire after a predefined time and sometimes don't get renewed for some reason, which can cause the sort of problems you are seeing.

I am not sure what the configuration page of the Archer A10 looks like. Do you have a menu that is somewhat similar to the screenshot below taken from another TP-Link model?

@woozle found that screen and mine is set to auto. Frustrating as it drops multiple times throughhout the day.

@TJCampb Update....this afternoon from 5:30 pm to 7pm I couldn't stay connected for more than a minute, my ISP confirmed that. Looks like something happened around May 11 that triggered this. Warranty is expired. Now....since 7pm I have been connected with no issues, it's now 10:04 pm.
Very odd I'd say.
ISP suggested I get a new router, and are very surprised my A10 is doing this.
