  @robertchen

If you are connecting to a VPN then the speed of download will be determined by the internet speed, or the speed limits imposed by the VPN provider.. whatever is slower.

Should you be using cheaper or free VPN solutions, the transfer rates may be extremely limited.   Is there a reason you are using a VPN?

has to connect to office VPN. If I use my phone 4G plan, there is no such network speed issue.

  @robertchen

While a slight decrease is normal, some users may experience significantly slower connections. If you’re one such user, then try the following methods to increase the speed of your internet connection when using a VPN:

Choose a different VPN server
Change your VPN protocols
Enable Split Tunneling
Opt for a different VPN provider
Change from a wireless connection to a wired connection
Close unnecessary background apps
Temporarily disable your antivirus and firewall
Reboot your device
Double check your internet connection

James
