Hi

I'm trying to establish a VPN from my home computer to my office. The VPN, windows VPN, starts nicely but then the internet connection stops and it won't connect to the office computer. I updated the firmware, stopped the computer firewall.

Does teh Archer Mr600 support using a VPN? Any suggestions to what the problem might be?

Hi, the MR600 is using at home, right? the home computer is trying to connect a VPN Server located in office router?

If so, it should be okay to enable VPN Pass-through on the MR600, and it is enabled by default, you could also double check it on Advanced->NAT Forwarding->ALG page.

In addition, is your MR600 working on 3G/4G Router mode or Wireless Router mode? and is the WAN/Internet IP address on Advanced->Status page a public or private address?

If it is 3G/4G Router mode, please try to insert the same SIM card into another 4G device or smart phone, then enable hotspot on the phone, and then you could connect the same home computer to the phone hotspot to see if the windows VPN works fine.

By the way, may I know the what type of VPN you are trying to connect? such as PPTP VPN etc.
