Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Having previously set up the router with no issue we changed sim (different network provider etc) and couldn't connect to the web management site to set up the network/enter sim pin etc. Re-entered original sim that was set up and now have the same issue and original sim couldn't/wouldn't connect to the network anymore so we no longer have wifi signal.

Have tried resetting to factory settings using the rest button but still unable to get connected to the web management page.

Questions:

-how can we get back to the web management site to make sure the sim is set up and get connected to wifi?

- is it possible to change the sim in the router if so how do you set this up?
- how to reset to factory settings without needing web management page or using the rest button (which hasn't worked for us)

- any ideas on what are we doing wrong?

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

1. Even though there is no internet access, we should still be able to connect the TP-Link WiFi and access its web interface, so please check if you are able to see and connect the TP-Link WiFi of MR600, if so, please try to access the web interface via tplinkmodem.net or 192.168.1.1, if it doesn't open, please check the IP address and default gateway on the client device: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/838/

2.Is there any error message when you try to access the web interface? may I have a screenshot?

3. Normally it is okay to change the SIM card, and the router will detect the new SIM card and use build-in APN profile to dial up for internet access automatically, if there is any issue with the default APN profiles, we should also be able to access the web interface and create APN profile manually.

4. For factory reset, except for the hardware reset button, we could also reset it via web interface or Tether App, but we also need to login the device first via web interface or via Tether App, so if you are able to see and connect the WiFi, you could also use your phone to check if you are able to login the router via Tether App.
