Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.5.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 210914 Rel.59719n

Hi

I've enabled remote management for my MR600 V2.

I allow all IP addresses.

I've tried HTTP and HTTPS. I've tried changing the port to 8080, or 8888.

I have even tried logging out of my 'local' admin web UI session, waiting 5 minutes and then trying a differnet browser, but ... in all situations, as soon as I go to http://the-no-ip-name:portnumber or http://the-ip-address, I get a 403 Forbidden message in my browser.

Am I missing something?

Thanks

Rob

  @RobWilcox

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

1. Please check the 4G WAN IP address on the MR600 on Advanced->Status page, is it a public IP address or private address?

2. Are you trying to access the page via the 4G WAN IP: port from a local client device or a remote client device?(the client is connected to MR600 network or a different network)

3. Did you also enable VPN server on the MR600 and connect VPN on the client device?

  @Sunshine

1/ It's a public IP address ... 10.27.something.something.  The SIM card in the router is from Smarty, in the UK.

2/ I've tried both.

If I use the WAN IP / Port when I'm connected locally, I get 403 forbidden.

If I use the WAN IP / Port when I'm connected remotely, I get 'the page / server is not responding'.

At the moment it should be http://10.27.something.something:8080 ... I've tried with and without HTTPS.

3/ No, not using VPN.
