Model: TL-MR6500v
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Firmware Version:‪1.0.0 0.9.1 v00a1.0 Build 200924 Rel.44417n

As title. I bought this router in February, and it's recently started disconnecting me and providing very slow/unpredictable speeds. Things I have tried:

>remove/replace the sim card;

>restart/reset the router to factory settings;

>connect over WIFI/LAN;

>re-enter the provider's APN details.

The recent error log shows this:

Hi, the “ERROR: Get sim card number failed” in the log is actually not relevant to the disconnecting or speed issue.

Some sim cards do not have its own number stored in the internal EF system, so the MR6500v will not be able to recognize the SIM card number of those SIM cards, in such cases, the error will be reported in the system log. In addition to the SIM card number will not be displayed on the router, it doesn't affect any function or performance of the MR6500v.

Besides, regarding the disconnecting and speed issue, since it started happening recently, it is recommanded to confirm if there is any issue with the ISP network or base station, and if possible, you could test the same SIM card on another 4G router or even smartphone.
If only the MR6500v has the issue, please help to provide more details:
1. Screenshot of Advanced->Status page and Advanced->Network->Internet page when internet stops working, and a system log file(don't reboot the router before saving the log file, or previous logs will be cleared)
2. When internet stops working, usually will it recover automatically or you have to reboot the router to get internet again?
3. How often does the disconnecting issue happen?
4. For speed issue, please check network type, band and signal strength on Status page, and let us know the wired speed and wireless speed when only one device connected; For comparison, please also test the speed when the same client device connected to another 4G router or phone hotspot using same SIM card and at same time.
(MR6500v supports up to LTE CAT4, so we need to compare the speed with another LTE CAT4 device as well, smartphones usually supports much higher LTE category and even 5G)

Here is advanced>status:

And here is advanced>network>internet:

The problem usually recovers, but this can sometimes take a very long time. Sometimes it just stops working altogether. The issue can happen at any time, usually several times a day. There is no regular time, sometimes during the day, sometimes at night.

My log wouldn't upload. I tried pasting it, but I got the error saying this post contains illegal external links. It basically looks like this:

  @deadgoose

Hi, based on the screenshots, internet status was still connected at that moment, may I know if internet was not working at that moment or it recovered already at that moment?:

And the below system logs show one of the DNS resolve timeout but another DNS still works at the same time, so the internet should be still working at that time. And you could also go to Advanced->Network->LAN Settings to set Primary DNS and Secondary DNS for LAN devices manually, such as 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 etc.

2022-07-22 13:21:08 [6] LTE: ERROR: 0x00000010 QMI_ERR_NOT_PROVISIONED

By the way, did you test the same SIM card on any other LTE CAT4 devices to see if there is any similar issue?
