Archer MR600 slow upload speed
Running the Archer MR600 modem router's speed test, I get good download speeds of between 15 - 30 Mbps, but upload speeds range between 1 - 3 Mbps, which seems very slow in comparison. Putting the same sim card into a portable TP-Link M7350 device, at the exact same location, I get similar download speeds but much higher upload speeds of 10 - 15 Mbps. This suggests to me that the problem lies with the modem and not the ISP or sim card.
What settings do I need to look at in the MR600, and does anyone have any idea what could be throttling the upload speed?

Hi, may I know the hardware version of your M7350? is it V5 or V7 etc.?
Please check if the M7350 could show the 4G band on Status page, if so, please compare the 4G bands working on the M7350 and the MR600, if they are working on different bands, please try to select 4G band manually on MR600 to see if the speed would be better:

Thanks for your reply.
The M7350 is v. 5.
I'm not going to be able to test this until October, so will get back to you then after I've tried your suggestion.
Many thanks.

Hi, I am also experiencing the same issue as @P40.
I was previously using the EDUP 4G Router (EP-AZ800). This router was giving me 30-40MB download, 6-8MB upload. I was getting any support on this product so I switched to the tp-link AC1200. I set up this to have the exact same settings e.g. LTE only, same channel etc. I am getting a far inferior upload speed, I'd be lucky to get more than 1MB. All hardware is the same except for the router. Firmware is also updated to the latest version on the AC1200.
I have also been through this post but still no change => https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/faq/2843/
Any ideas?
Thanks.

@P40 thank you for coming back to me and great to hear you solved your issue in a non-technical way.
I have done some more investigations and some tinkering in the admin console and for some reason my signal strength jumped from 25% to 75% and my upload speed improved to about 10MB - still not great but better than it was. I made the following changes:
1) switched the Network band from '3' to Auto and saved the changes and then
2) performed a Network Search again and it found my existing provider and I saved those settings
Not sure why the signal strength dropped so much but after those changes it seems ok now.
