Model: TL-MR3420  
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: mr3420v3_eu_3_16_9_up_boot(160412).bin

I would like to use an Alcatel 4G Internet Key, but even updating the firmware the modem 4G is not recognized.

I am using a IK41VE1 Alcatel Key.

 

I do not want to change TP-link modem as it is working fine,

Use this tool to check the compatibility of the 4G USB keys and your MR-3420 by selecting your location.

There are instructions what you can do if the key is listed but not recognized.

If the key is not listed then it's not supported.
