Model: Archer MR200
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.4.0 0.9.1 v004a.0 Build 180427 Rel.36391n

I'm unable to connect with my friends on Nintendo Switch and I noticed that my wi-fi is NAT type D (strict) and need to be NAT type A (open) to be able to connect.

Im using a TP-link modem router model Archer MR200.

I can't really seem to find a solution online, can someone help me?

Thanks in advance

  @TheSilentGecko

Hi, may I know if you are using 3G/4G Router mode or wireless router mode on the MR200?

Please note that the NAT Type would be related to the network topology, and please also confirm if the WAN IP address on your MR200 is a public IP address or private IP address.

In addition, if your Nintendo Switch requires to open some ports, you could use the DMZ or Virtual Servers feature to do port forwarding for a try.
