Hi everyone, seeking some advice here.

I have around a dozen POS machines and printers in total, with LAN cable connections and my idea is to connect them to my Cisco SG95-16 switch. Which I will then connect the switch to my TP link 4G router (MR 6400), providing them with network.

Just wondering if what I mentioned above does work. Or is there a correct way I should be doing it?

Any advice is welcome please help.

Hi, the cisco switch is an unmanaged switch or managed switch? if the switch is only used to provide more LAN ports, and your client devices only need internet access, no additional settings required, they should work that way, just make sure there is no IP conflict. For example, the default LAN IP address of MR6400 is 192.168.1.1, then the switch IP address should not be 192.168.1.1, it could be 192.168.1.2 etc.
