Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.5.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 210914 Rel.59719n

I have bought Archer MR600 which I want to connect via ethernet cable to a gaming router AX11000. Please write how to setup these two devices in order to make archer mr600 as modem only that transmits internet signal to ax11000.

I would appreciate your help.

Kind regards,

Artur

  @artpast How to set TP-link MR600 4G modem/router as modem only mode that transmits internet to the WAN socket of ARCHER AX11000?

Hi, MR600 doesn't support bridge mode, but you could still connect the AX11000 WAN port to the MR600 to connect the internet, in this way, there will be two NATs in the network.

To avoid two NATs, you could also consider to change AX11000 to be Access Point mode.

  @Sunshine Thx for help:) When I connect this two devices as two NATs, can I have remote access to the NAS (server) connected to AX11000 via link agggregation port?

  @artpast MR600 has 192.168.1.1 and works as a modem; AX110000 has 192.168.0.1 andworks as a router.

Hi, to access the NAS connected to AX11000 remotely when there are two NATs, you will need to configure port forwarding on both devices.

Besides, please check if the MR600 WAN IP address is a private IP address or public IP address, if it is a private IP address, that means the ISP uses CGNAT and port forwarding will not work since there is another NAT on ISP side.

  @Sunshine Thx, I have public IP from my ISP. Please write what should I exactly do port forward internet to my NAS Synology.

Internet - Tplink MR600 (192.168.1.1) - Tplink AX11000 (192.168.0.1) - NAS Synology (connected via Link Aggregation LCAP).
