Hi, 

I am new to TP-Link and a novice with Powerline so please be gentle 

I have a TL-PA8010P (connected to the Sky Broadband router), a TL-PA8030P (in my office with 2 laptops & a Sonos speaker connected) and a TL-PA4010 (spare when working in the lounge). I would like to disable wifi on these devices as they are conflicting with the Sky Wifi but I don't know how to disable (or if it can actually be done). 

Can you please help?

Hi. TL-PA8010p and TL-PA4010 are wired powerline adapters. They do not have WiFi.

TL-WPAxxxx are wireless models. So there might be something else interfering with the network.

  @RobC79 Exactly. None of the devices you listed have WiFi to begin with.

 

If you find these to interfere with your internet connection in general, try adjusting the VDSL coexistence settings to match your ISP's mode of operation.

  @RobC79 Hi, I have AV1300 model PA8010P and ever since I performed a Fresh Start on my Windows PC, I have lost my upload speed.

I am on my third day of troubleshooting using my favourite tech sites' suggestions and of course searching on youtube and generally.

[It turns out that Windows 10 is famous for losing quite a few important tings with the Fresh Start.]no

I have tried everything I can find. I am now down to -- did my PC lose its connection to my powerline extenders?cool

I have watched the tp-link video on finding one's extender via app or web browser. I am not even able to extract anything from the files for my Model number.

Does it not seem odd that I cannot even bring up a hint of the tp-link's existence? frown

I, too, have sky; specifically, fttp broadband with 500Mbps. My download speed remains strong, but I have no upload speed at all.

By the way -- What is VDSL coexistence settings?

And I should add that I recognise the TP-Link is plugged into my electrical grid. All three yellow-green lights are on both devices. But the connection is gone.

Thanks for steering me in any more successful direction. For my business, I must be able to connect with my clients online.sad
