Model: Archer C7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 211210

Greetings!

I upgraded the firmware on my Archer C7 router a couple days ago and, since then, wireless clients will be dropped after a period of time. The only way I've been able to get them to reconnect is to shut down my router, let it sit for a moment, then fire it back up. Last night, I did a factory reset on the router and went through the steps to configure it. It seemed to be fine but my phone and tablets weren't connected again this morning. One of my tablets didn't even see my SSID being broadcast. After another reboot of the router, they were able to connect again.

Has anyone else encountered this? I may end rolling the router back to the previous firmware version as I didn't have this current issue when it was running that.

Thanks a bunch!

10/1/22 Edit: well, wired devices are also getting dropped when this happens. I'm not able to roll back to a previous FW version either - I get an "Invalid File Type" error. I submitted a support case with TP-Link.
