I have a RE305 V3 extender and I'd like to buy a new router AX10 for my home.

 

Will the OneMesh feature work well between AX10 (AX1500) and RE305 V3 (AC1200) or must I upgrade my extender to RE605X?

 

I live in Brazil and here there is no RE605X to buy.

I found RE305 V3 is also OneMesh compatible as TP-Link OneMesh Devices , so you do not have to upgrade to an AX model to use the OneMesh.

Of course, RE605X is capable of Wifi6 and probably get better speed compared with using Wifi 5.I think you should keep using the old the range unless you got higher requirement on the speed of range extender.

I use the AX20 (AX1800) with a RE300 extender with no problems, I get my full WiFi speed when connected to the extender.
