Hi I have purchased the TP-Link Archer MR600 v2 from official partner on 19 November 2022.

 

Tested 4G+ connectivity results ok.

 

Tested 3G Connectivity with BSNL 3G sim 

Results are :

Max Speed       : 14 Mbps

Signal strength : 100%

RSSI                 : -62dBm

Network type:    : WCDMA

 

Problem :  Every time needs to reboot router at least 2 times to get connection to 3G network.

 

1 st boot  :  Internet Status:  Disconnected . No data. No Internet symboled light. Signal strength 3 bars .

2 nd boot :  Internet Status:  Disconnected . No data. No Internet symboled light. Signal strength 3 bars.

3 rd boot  :  Internet Status:  Connected .     Internet Connected Successfully.  

 

4 th boot  :  Internet Status:  Disconnected . No data. No Internet symboled light. Signal strength 3 bars .

5 th boot :   Internet Status:  Disconnected . No data. No Internet symboled light. Signal strength 3 bars .

6 th boot  :  Internet Status:  Connected.       Internet Connected Successfully.

Hi, when you tested 3G connection, was the network mode set to be 4G preferred to 3G only?

Please try to set it on 3G only to see if internet works fine on the first booting.

Previous             Network Mode: 4 Preferred

 

New Setting      Network Mode:    3G Only

                           Internet Status:    Disconnected

                           Signal Strength:   100%

 

After applying the new setting I lost the internet connectivity on all time, all reboots, permanently.

Problem still exists. Requires 2 reboots and 4G preferred mode as it is.

 

Please check and suggest if its a hardware problem or a software bug ?

Hi, the testing BSNL SIM card only supports up to 3G, no 4G supported, right? Please share with us a system log file on first boot.

If you use the 4G SIM card to test 3G connection under 3G only mode, will it work without reboot?

 

After that, please email support.forum@tp-link.com with forum ID 590256 and provide us the following information:

1. Screenshot of Status page and system log file after first boot, please save the log after 5 minutes

2. 3G connection test results with another 4G SIM card under 3G only mode
