I have recently bought the archer c80 to replace a router that was water damaged for my fibre to the house connection. I have a nest doorbell battery but I can't get it to work, it worked no problem with the old router and I have reset it multiple times. I have also tried all the advice on the Google website. 

 

The Google home app simply won't connect to the doorbell but I know that it works.

Hi,

 

Is the device that is running the Google Home app connected to the 2.4 GHz wireless SSID of the Archer C80? According to its specs page the Nest Doorbell Battery only supports only "802.11b/g/n (2.4 GHz)".

  @woozle thanks for the reply, I've got it working now. Factory reset it again and disabled the firewall temporarily seems to have done to trick. 

 

I am using the smart connect feature so it's just a single SSID for both 2.4 and 5ghz.
