How to add new router details to TP-Link

Hi,
our router was fried in a lightning strike this week and a replacement has just arrived but I can't figure out how to get my TP-link to forget the old router name and password and how to add the new one. Please can anyone advise - and explain like I'm five years old please as I'm not that tech savvy!

Can you give me some more info on the username and password you referring to?
Is this the wifi details or something else? Sorry cant quite get the head round what you are asking 
but happy to help!
Just give me as much info as you can, how things are cabled etc..
