I am trying to setup a network but getting "WAN ip and LAN ip are in the same subnet".

 

Here is how it looks:

 

1. ISP Ubiquity antenna used to have DCHP enabled, but I have asked them to disabled, to have my own DHCP server on my TP Link router. I don't have access to management page of tha ISP antenna, but I know it has IP address of 192.168.10.1

2. I have TP Link router which support Access Point but once I want to change LAN IP to 192.168.10.2 it shows me error "WAN ip and LAN ip are in the same subnet". ISP antenna is connected to my TP Link router to WAN port. TP Link should server DHCP addresses.

 

I appreciate any help, how should I configure TP Link router.

Error "WAN ip and LAN ip are in the same subnet" means that your router is not in AP mode, but in router mode.

Depending on your TP-Link router model you have two options:

 

1. When in router mode configure the WAN port with a static IP address 192.168.10.2. Its LAN IP address should be either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, so there wouldn't be any IP address conflict.

2. If your router has a dedicated AP mode (Case 1) - configure its LAN IP address with static IP address 192.168.10.2 and leave its DHCP enabled in range 192.168.10.100-192.168.10.199 (for example).
