Model: Archer AX1800  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.5

Hi,

 

WiFi's fine. If I plug a host via ethernet into my router, it's able to ping the gateway and members of the LAN. While DNS resolves, any IPs or FQDNs outside of the LAN (such as 8.8.8.8) return `Destination Host Unreachable`.

 

Has anyone encountered this issue in the past? Where's the best place to start troubleshooting?

Turns out that my NAS was using an unconfigured WiFi adapter instead of the LAN cable that was plugged in.

Hi,

 

Are you able to access the internet when connecting to the AX1800 via LAN cable?

 

Is the host device a computer or a NAS? 

 

How about the wireless clients, are they accessing the internet fine when connecting to the AX1800 wireless network?

 

Who is your internet provider? You may try to change the DNS servers on the WAN/Internet page to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, then reboot the AX1800 and confirm again if you can get online.
