Model: Archer A6
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I have been trying everything but i can't make port forwarding work for arma3.

I have experience from the past about opening ports but my knowledge doesn't work with this new router.

It is connected to a small box from the isp, it is an optical to cat5e cable and the cat5e cable goes into my A6 which i connect from my laptop on wifi.

Is there something i need to do on that small box from isp or am i doing things wrong on the A6?

I followed the instructions from all over the net but when i launch the game it fails fo open the ports.

Can anyone help me please...

Thanks.

  @Emrez

First make sure that you have received your public IP address as an Internet IP address here:

If yes, then you need to open these ports for Arma3:

  • TCP: 2344-2345, 27015, 27036
  • UDP: 2302-2306, 2344, 27015, 27031-27036

If you did that correctly then you'll achieve your goal.

If no, then you're behind NAT from your ISP (there's nothing you can do) or the small box from your ISP is an ISP modem/router, which should be re-configured.

  @terziyski

Thank you for your answer but which one should i make? port triggering or port forwarding?

The device ip adress should be my computer's local ip, wrong?

  @Emrez

1. Port-forwarding

2. Yes

When configuring port ranges, leave the internal port filed empty - check this post.

  @terziyski

Thanks mate but it doesn't work.

it doesn't accept the format , And also it says internal port can't be left empty...

i don't understand why companies want to make things harder for people as the technology advances. I could do this so easy a decade ago, now a useless pain in the ,,s.

  @Emrez

You should configure this not as one single entry, but one at a time, i.e. one port or port range, then save the entry and then configure the next one.

Here's a guide on how to do this - Case 2.
