Hi,

 

I just ordered the TP-Link RE700x to use with my internet connection, on advice of a colleague who also has one. However, I need to set up the Access Point part using PPPoE. Is this possible, and if so, how?
Or do I need to send it back and order a router?

Hi, PPPoE is one of WAN connection types on Routers, but RE700X is not a router, we are unable to configure PPPoE on the RE700X. If you have no Router or Modem Router now, I am afraid you purchased a wrong product.

Thanks very much for your reply. Indeed I think I purchased the wrong product. I have since sent it back and ordered the AX55 routers. Thanks again,.
