Dear all,

I have problem when pinging devices in my network. My network setup as follows:

- Router of my internet provider is connected to the internet

- First Deco is connected to this Router

- PC1 is connected with Router (lan cable)

- PC2 is connected with second Deco (lan cable)

Tried pinging PC1 from PC2 -> FAILED

After that I switched the Deco to Access Point mode with my mobile app

Tried pinging PC1 from PC2 again -> FAILED

I thought access point mode would bridge the Deco and the Router network?!

How can I achieve that all my home devices are located in the same network, no matter they are connected to Deco or the Router?

Deco Operation Mode change in app does not propagate instantly to all your Deco mesh nodes, you may need to give it few minutes.

Try this way:

1. In Deco app change Operation Mode to Access Point. Close Deco app. Wait for about 3-5 minutes.

2. Open Deco app. Verify it reports Access Point as Operation Mode.

3. Reboot PC1 and reboot PC2. Check in your router that it assigned IP addresses to both PC1 and PC2. Check on both PCs that they have IP addresses from IP range configured in router.

4. If all checks passed, pinging between PCs should work at this point.
