Recently, I bought the TL-MR100 to use as an Airtel 4G dongle. However, the internet connection is frequently disconnecting. If I place my mobile in the same location, I get a stable network, but when I place the TL-MR100 there, the connection frequently disconnects. Can someone help me fix the problem?

Hi, 

 

1. Please try to download the latest firmware for MR100 V1 on the following website and update it manually via web interface:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/tl-mr100/v1/#Firmware

 

2. If the problem still happens, please share with us screenshots of Advanced->Status page, Advanced->Network->Internet page when the issue exists, then go to Advanced->System Tools->System Log page to save a log file(before rebooting)

 

3. Please pay attention to the Band on Advanced->Status page, if it changes a lot especially when internet stops working, please select 4G band manually to see if it would be more stable: How to select 4G band manually on the web interface of LTE Gateway Routers

 

4. How often does it usually happen? and will it recover automatically or you have to reboot the router to get internet again?

Hi, according to the screenshots of status page and also system log, the MR100 LTE connection is working fine, no LTE disconnection is logged, may I know if those screenshots were taken when the problem happened?

 

If not, please take the screenshots and save a system log file again after the problem happens. 

 

Besides, when the issue happens, will all client devices lose internet at the same time? and will it recover automatically or you have to restart the MR100 to get internet again?
