That's a bit of a bombshell!  Thanks @shberge 

 

If you are rebuilding your VPN...I don't see the issue with using the L2TP/IPsec Client-Server approach I suggested. 

 

At least it's consistent and it performs WAY better than OpenVPN does.

the router should handle 1500-1600 mbps with OpenVPN I have never gotten more than 30-40 mbps so there is something seriously wrong with the firmware on this.

 

so I use OpenVPN on a raspberry pi 4 it manages 100mbps

This is roughly what it is about, I think it is UDP that is the problem. OpenVPN works with TCP but very slowly, max 40Mbps, SSL VPN does not work together with IPsec because there you cannot switch to TCP. then all IPsec traffic stop in tunnel

The issue has been reported to our engineers for further investigation. They may schedule a time to try reproducing the issue for further analysis, which may need some time. I'll keep an eye on the issue and let you know if there is an update on the issue.
