Model: TL-PA4010 KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Lodge site owners have installed Ubiquiti AP wifi unit in our lodge. This is a wall mount unit with 2 RJ45 outlet sockets. Can I plug my PA4010 adapter unit into this as if it was a router and then extend wifi using TP-Link extender?  Am not tech savvy so laymans language please...  Thanks in anticipation

  @Jabees

Hi, right now multiple devices could connect to the Ubiquiti AP via WiFi or Ethernet cable at the same time to get internet, right?

If so, powerline adapters or extenders should be able to work. Because there must be already a router in the network, maybe it is in the front of the Ubiquiti AP, or only one device could get internet access.

Hi, may I know if you could connect two or more client devices to the Ubiquiti AP via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi to connect internet access at the same time?

If so, powerline adapter and extenders should be able to work as long as they are within the same electrical circult.

  @Sunshine  Thanks for your reply. The Ubiquiti AP has 2 ethernet socket outlets, so planning to use ethernet cable to connect to TPLink adapter, then mains circuit to TPLink extender.  We think the Ubiquiti unit has been set up with fairly low WiFi output so it doesn't interfere with neighbouring lodges but as it is located at one end of the lodge, signal is too weak to reach the other end!
