HI

i have a current setup of 2 x X50 with 3 x X20 units. please canI get guidance on the following:

If I enable the IOT network will it be enabled on the X20 devices as well?

How do you then connect a LAN port to the IOT network or will it allow for routing between the different network as in this case we can potentially have the normal WIFI, Guest WIFI and IOT WIFI? or is this IOT network also completely isolated?

If the IOT is a different VLAN like the Gurst WIFI is implemented what is the VLAN ID and are these VLANs tagged on the lan ports?

Will port forwarding work to the IOT network?

Thanks

Hi, welcome to the community.

Since Deco X20 does not support an IOT network, so if you enable the IOT network on the Deco APP, Deco X20 will not broadcast an additional IOT network, But the Deco X50 pack still does. You could consider this IOT network as another "main"(or normal) network since it is not separated from the "main"(normal) network and it is the same as the main network-untagged.

As for port forwarding, it works for the IOT network as well.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

Hi David Thanks for the prompt response, will there be an updated firmware for the X20(1.20) as the last update was 1.5.1 Build 20210204 Rel. 50738 which was some time ago.
