Model: TL-WPA7617 KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Good morning,

I bought 2 TL WPA 7617 kits (2x2 CPL).

How can I use it?

the TL PA 7017 P connects to the router and only uses the 2 other TL WPA 7617.

Or can I use all 4 at the same time on the same electrical network? does it scream one powerline network or 2 powerline networks?

thank you for your enlightenment

Hi, you could use all the four powerline units at the same time within the same powerline network:

Connect one TL-PA7017 to your router via Ethernet cable, all the three units can be plugged into other locations to extend the network, please note that only two of them have WiFi function, for the other TL-PA7017, you could only connect wired client device via Ethernet cable.

concretely should they be paired? 2 by 2?

if you can describe the procedure with pictures.

thank you

Hi, let's call the four powerline units as A, B, C and D, you could pair them this way:

1. Pair A and B via pair button

2. Pair A and C via pair button

3. Pair A and D via pair button

Note: For how to pair powerline units via pair button, you could refer to How to set up a new secure wireless network using Powerline ac Wi-Fi Kit by Pair button

Then all the four units will be paired and in the same powerline network. If there is any further issue, please plug all the four units into wall sockets and let us know the LED status on them, especially the powerline LED which looks like a little house.
