I'm looking for an outside weather proof access point to extend my Deco M4 unit mesh to the garden, can anyone recommend one that would suit?

Deco recently released a Deco X50 Outdoors

 

This would be the obvious choice as it will work with your existing Deco hardware

  @Philbert  Thankyou. I'll give it a try. It doesn't state it works specifically with Deco M4, but I guess the Deco mesh system is designed to be modular in that way?

Yes the Deco is one ecosystem so all devices will work together seamlessly using WiFi.  There will be no issue mixing the M and X range
