Hi, Thank you for reporting the issue on TP-Link Community.
1. Could you please also check the client list on the router web interface to see if it has the same issue as the Tether App?
2. How many client devices are connected to the router? via wireless or wired connection? please let us know the brand and model no. of the wireless client devices that are displayed as wired device now.
3. Are those devices connected to router WiFi directly? or through some other access points or range extenders? please share with us your network topology as well.
4. You mentioned that the issue started after updating the latest firmware, do you still remember your previous firmware version?
5. What is the version of your Tether App?

The device in question was a TCL 55S446 Smart TV. It was connected wirelessly at 5Ghz (802.11ac) and It's status in the client's list was "offline" in the web portal. It was appearing as a Wired (LAN) device in the Tether App.
I have 10 client devices connected at any given point in time. They are connected directly. No Access Points/Extenders.
I have noticed a change since the latest firmware update (1.2.6 Build 20230526 rel.53018(5553)). It is no longer saying "offline" in the web portal. I think that issue was corrected.
I am currently using version 4.1.35 of the Tether App on Android.
I am pretty sure that the issue has been resolved with the new firmware but you can double check.

You mean all the devices are showing correctly in the client list, right? Thanks a lot for the update.
Upon checking, the 1.2.5 firmware improved the accuracy of Client Type Identification in the offline state, and then 1.2.6 firmware enhanced system stability.
