Model: Archer TX50E
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I have recently purchased an AX3000 TX50E V.2 WiFi adapter.
When installing it on the motherboard and booting the computer it shows up as "Unknown Device" and a series of "PCI Device" devices along with a "SM Bus Controller".
I have tried installing and reinstalling the device and have downloaded the latest version of drivers found on the site:
WiFi-22.180.0-Driver64-Win10-Win11
Nothing appears to work.
The motherboard is an "Asus TUF GAMING Z590-PLUS".

Thank you.

.

Hi,

Even if Windows didn't have any drivers for the Wi-Fi adapter the entries in the Device Manager shouldn't look like that.

Can you test the TX50E in another PCIe socket on your motherboard?

Also make sure you have properly connected the supplied cable that goes from the TX50E to one of the motherboard's internal USB sockets.
