Model: TL-WPA4220 KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4?

I have an older version of the TL-WPA4220KIT which consists of the TL-PA4010 base station and AV500 satellite module.

The AV500 modules are obsolete and I need another satellite. The replacement AV600 doesn't appear to be compatible with the base station TL-PA4010.

If there is a newer version of the TL PA4010, surely it should have another model number?!

Can anybody shed light on this subject? Anyone know if the AV600 module connects to a version 1 TL-PA4010?

You should be able to connect AV600 module to the TL-PA4010 - check this FAQ.

Q: Are all TP-Link Powerline adapters compatible with each other?

A: TP-Link Powerline adapters utilize HomePlug AV/AV2 Standards, which means all of our Powerline adapter models are compatible with each other and can be used within the same network. However, please bear in mind the overall Powerline rate will adopt the lowest HomePlug AV standard rate when using various TP-Link Powerline adapter models in the same network.
