  @MrBeanAdapter

Hi,

You can download it from TP-Link's "Worldwide" site. https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/tx201/

However, if it was me I would instead download the newest version of the driver directly from Realtek, as I see no reason to prefer an older driver in this case.

  @woozle Thanks. Do you know what the difference is between "Win11 Auto Installation Program (NetAdapterCx)" and "Win11 Auto Installation Program (NetAdapterCx) - Not Support Power Saving" which one would you get?

Also just as I was interested, heres a comparison between tp-links versions/dates to the ones from the realtek website:

TP Link Win10: 10.56.119.2022 (5.90MB 2022/06/23)
Realtek Win10: 10.68.815.2023 (6.27MB 2023/08/31)

TP Link Win11: 11.7.0318.2022 (762KB 2022/06/23)
Realtek WIn11: 11.15.0717.2023 (763KB 2023/08/24)
Realtek WIn11: 11.15.0715.2023 (763KB 2023/08/24) (- Not Support Power Saving)

Seems like tp-link should work on keeping their links upto to date (and available to download on all website regions) cheeky

Unfortunately, Realtek doesn't seem to explain anywhere what exactly "Power Saving" means in this case.

Since your's is a PCIe card this must be desktop computer or server computer, where the amount of power drawn is not much of an issue. So, I would just use the "Not Support Power Saving" version of the driver.

If the network chip was part of a battery powered computer (like a laptop), then the "normal" version of the driver that supports whatever sort of power saving might be a better choice.

In general, any sort of power saving feature has the potential to reduce the responsiveness and performance of a system ever so slightly.

  @woozle Quick update

I emailed Realtek just to ask what the difference is, and the answer is very simple.

"Dear Customer,

Thanks for your mail.

The version with power saving not supported is disabling the power saving mode option in driver advance setting by default."

So you could literally disable this option yourself on the normal driver, otherwise, no difference between them.

  @MrBeanAdapter

Thanks for sharing the e-mail from Realtek!

I am sure many people have wondered what that "Not Support Power Saving" is all about.
