AX55 reboots suddenly with AX55(EU)_V1_1.2.3 Build 20230603
Hi,
I've upgraded my AX55 V1 with the latest firmware, but I see random reboots happening on the router. I'm not able to find in the logs the reason why, since the logs start at 0 after a reboot...
It seems like it happens more when multiple devices are active on the edge (far back in the garden).
I have downgraded to V1_1.2.0 Build 20230314 and this does not show this issue.
How can I get the continuous logs during these reboots, and how can I debug this?

Hi, may I know how often does the router reboot on its own? and it usually reboots once and then work again, or keeps rebooting for a while until you do anything to stop it?
You mentioned that the issue happens more when multiple devices are active on the edge, how many client devices are usually connected to the router and what are they?
By the way, are you still using the previous firmware V1_1.2.0 Build 20230314 at this moment?

Thanks for thinking along.
It reboots normally about 2 times a day, with the devices on the edge of the range about 2-3 times in one evening. It is not a boot-loop, just 1 reboot at the time. I don't do anything else than wait for it to come back.
There are around 20 devices connected to the router (2.4G and 5G), some IOT devices, phones, tablets and laptops. During the evening reboot events we're usually streaming video from e.g. Netflix. This is also far away from the router.
Currently I'm still running V1_1.2.0 Build 20230314, and it did not reboot since the downgrade a few days ago.

I'm in the same situation with same version.
I did downgrade to V1.2.0
Should I go for the beta firmware?
Thanks for your reply.

I'm having the same issue. Random reboots. Seems related to the number of devices, having around 15-20. If I have visits it happens in a few minutes and I gotta disconnect other devices.

@Metalic Hi, you mean the issue only happens on 1.2.3 firmware and no issue after you downgrade to 1.2.0 firmware, right?
You could now update the new 1.2.5 firmware or the V1.2.6 beta firmware provided in this thread: Public Beta for Archer AX55 V1 Supports EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul, DoH&DoT, ECO Mode and More
@HHF32 May I know your current firmware version? and the issue started since the firmware update as well?
You mentioned random reboots and also device disconnecting issue, you mean two issues, or the device disconnects when router reboots on its own?

@Sunshine Hi , it happened on 1.2.3 when I downgraded to 1.2.0 it rebooted twice then it stays stable. I tried with beta firmware and it was as with 1.2.3 firmware.
For instance I will try the official 1.2.5 or eventually 1.2.6 beta and I will give you feedback.
I noticed that due to one app on a smart tv the router did reboot. I dont realy know how to explain but it seems that is related... Oqee by Free (app name).
Thank you for your reply,

This is noted, and let's see if the issue still exists or not with official 1.2.5 and 1.2.6 beta firmware.

The firmware version is 1.2.3. The issue started after the firmware update. I haven't tried going back to a previous version or upgrading to a beta one.
The only bug is the router rebooting. I manually disconnected devices so it didn't get triggered when I have visits.
I can reproduce the bug at will. I'm a software engineer so provided instructions I can get you the necessary information.
