Hi,

I have set up a modem in bridge mode and a router (Archer AX20) with a VPN which staff who are remote can access.

It is via L2TP/IPsec with a key and username's and passwords.

The reason for the VPN and subsequent remote desktop is the use of a shared software as well as portal access which requires accepted IP's only. The business is run from home.

If we use the modem for business and personal purposes is there a security risk with having remote users being able to access the local IP.

I am not a computer science person so please respond in plain English :)

Thanks

PK

Hi @PKPK

Since your requested information does not belong to the Business Forum, I moved your post to the home WIFI router.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
