VPN Client Connected but not working

So I've recently set up the VPN client with Express VPN. It successfully connects and I have enabled my device in the Device List, yet when checking my location it shows my actual location rather than my preselected one.
Is there anything I may have done wrong?
Edit: Nevermind, a simple reset sorted it!

I'm having the exact same issue on my AX5400 router. I rebooted but that didn't work. How did you "reset" to get the VPN to work?

Hi, how about a factory reset: press and hold the Reset button until the Power LED blinks to reset the router to its factory default settings?
