Only getting half broadband speed
Hi,
I'm using the TL-SG105 switch and only getting around half the broadband speed. Without the switch I'm back up to normal advertised speeds again so the wire is OK. I only use one connected device at a time so if I'm using my laptop I'm not using the ps5 and vice versa. I've played around with the QOS settings but to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated.

TL-SG105 is an unmanaged gigabit switch.
There's no point messing with QoS settings of your router - that's probably a cable issue (switch port doesn't like the ethernet cable you're using).
You can compare the associated speed of your wired device using this FAQ (connected to the TL-SG105 and connected directly to your router).
If there's a difference in the associated speed in both cases use another quality cable (CAT5E/CAT6) and test again.
If there's no difference in the associated speed in both cases contact your local support for further assistance.

@terziyski I tried changing the cables over using cat 5E but still having the same issue. Sorry the model is TL-SG105E. I'll see how far I get with local support.
