I am unable to get the router facility of my Deco X55s to function with my new Vodafone FTTC broadband. With my previous provider Plusnet and I was able to use my Openreach modem and the Deco in PPPoE mode to connect. I have my username and password from VF, set connection to PPPoE, VLAN to 101 with priority 0 but am unable to connect. The VDSL router/modem that VF supplies works ok so I know the service is working.

Vodafone use 2 different service providers and each is setup differently.

 

If its a cityfibre try vlan 911

If its openreach then try without VLAN   OR  try vlan 101 with 802.1q (ive seen both work)

  Thanks, Did a new install using one of the satalite decos as the new main and it automatically found PPPOE service. Added usr and pswd, VLAN 101 and worked fine this time.
