I purchased a 2-pack of the Deco M4 and I have been offered a 2-pack of Deco E4.

I would like to know if the 2 models are compatible

They are compatible.

The main difference is E4 has 100Mbps Ethernet ports, while M4 has gigabit Ethernet ports. If you plan to have Satellite Deco wirelessly connected to Main Deco M4, E4 is a good choice for Satellite Deco. For Satellite Deco you want to hardwire, use M4 instead.
