Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Request for the ability to copy on/relay on text messages sent to the sim card in the router on to another mobile number.

Reason for this request.

Mobile companies now send a 2FA message as a text to the mobile sim card with some number/digits in the text.

These is then required to be inputted by you as part of the login to access your account for the sim.

If you do not have access or are away from where the router is, then the text message is 'stuck' in the router's text inbox with you unable to access it and therefore unable to log into your mobile providers account for the sim card in the router.

Additionally any monthly data limits being approached will similarly result in warning text messages to the sim card in the router which, unless you logon to it, you will be totally unaware of.  The ability to forward incomming texts will solve this issue.

Regards

Hello, thank you for posting on the TP-Link community, and we certainly appreciate all your feedback and feature request(s) here.

While we don't have any specific details that I can share around if SMS copy on/relay on feature can come to all the 4G routers, or when it might, I'll make sure to log this feature request and pass it along to the team.

Feel free to let us know of any other feature requests you may have, we’d be happy to send them up for you.
