my Deco X20 does not connect to the correct satelite
Hi,
I have a home network with 4x Deco X20. 2 Satalites connect to the main Deco, and one of the Satellites (a more distant one) should connect to one of the Satellites where the connection is better, but it keeps connecting to the Main Deco where the signal is weak. This makes the connection slower and with some errors.
Is there a way to force the connection from one Deco to another?
Thank you for your help.

The feature you need is called Connection Preference: Customize Your Preferred Signal Source
This feature may or may not be present in your Deco mesh.
Check that link and at the bottom of that document in FAQ section there is link to List of Supported Deco Models and to How to select a preferred signal source on the Deco App

They all have to be of supported hardware version for that feature to work. You may need to delete one X20 v1.2 you have from your Deco mesh, at least to see how that feature works. if X20 with 1.2 hardware is not Main Deco, just delete it from Deco mesh by following Reset a Deco unit from this document How can I reset or reboot my Deco Whole-Home Wi-Fi System?
You can add that X20 V1.2 back to Deco mesh later if you want to, but connection preference feature will disappear again (but maybe your X20s will stay connected they way they were configured, who knows).
