Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.13 Build 20230906 rel.40682(4555)

When I switch off the AX50/AX3000 Router, the Wi Fi becomes disabled. The Ethernet is active but the WiFi is disabled. I need to log into the Web Admin page to enable wireless radio.

Model: Archer AX50/AX3000

Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: 1.0.13 Build 20230906 rel.40682(4555)

My 2.4GHz & 5GHz settings are:

Security: WPA & WPA2-Personal

Version: WPA2 PSK

Encryption: AES
Mode: 802.11 b/g/n/ax mixed
Channel: Auto
Channel width: Auto

Transmit power - Middle. Due to the heat (high temperature) of the router, I switched down to Middle.
Enable SSID Broadcast: enabled

Airtime Fairness Feature: disabled

OFDMA - enabled.

Wireless Off Time Schedule: Set to Enable, between 3am-7am every day.

Reboot Schedule - every Friday (late evening)

I have rebooted the Router a few occasions, the issue is still present. I purchased the AX50 around June 2021.

Can you advise how to resolve the issue?

  @Sunshine

This issue has been resolved today.

You just need to shut off the "The Wireless Off Time Schedule: Set to Enable, between 3am-7am every day". I disabled Wireless Off Time Schedule, and the issue went away. The Wi Fi was enabled and working as expected.

Thank you to the TP Link Support Team.

  @Phalanx

Hi, the issue happens only after manual reboot or all kind of reboots including the automatic reboot every Friday?

And after the reboot, will internet via wired connection still work fine? If so, please login the web interface and check the router system time to see if the system time is correct or not, if the time is correct and shows 3am to 7am, the wireless radio will be off based on the wireless off time schedule.

In addition, if you disable wireless off time for a test, will the issue still exist after a reboot?

  @Sunshine Thank you for your response.

The primary issue is when I switch off the Router via the On/Off switch at the back of the Router. When I switch off the Router, the Wi Fi is disabled when the Router is back on. The Ethernet is on and working, only the Wi Fi is disabled.

Please ignore the reboot part, the issue is related to when I switch off the Router at the back. (On/Off switch)

Regarding your other questions:

The time is correct on the Router settings. I don't access the Router during Wi Fi Off Time Schedule -  3am-7am every day

The Wireless Off Time Schedule: Set to Enable, between 3am-7am every day - this is ok and working. Each day I check the Wi Fi connection status after 7am, the Wi Fi is working as expected.

I switch off the Router when I leave my place.
