About to buy an M7450 but the reseller information states that is is suitable for use across Europe, but does not have any information about whether it will work in the USA and the Caribbean, also other places in the world. Is there any reason this won't work with SIM cards from all over the world?

Here is the network type and bands supported by M7450(EU) V2:

FDD-LTE: B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28(2100/1800/850/2600/900/800/700MHz)
TDD-LTE: B38/B40/B41 (2600/2300/2500MHz)
DC-HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS: B1/B5/B8(2100/850/900MHz)
 

Whether a SIM card will work with it or not depends on whether the supported network type and bands match, as far as we know, the mobile network operators in the US support different LTE bands, thus M7450 will not work in the US. For other places, you could also check the supported bands as well to confirm whether it is compatible.
