  @woozle i habe another small pci slot same as what this one is plugged in but further up so ill try that tomorrow if that wire that plugs in to the motherboard reaches.

 

I think so yes it was just the one from the fibre supplier here in the UK called sky just the normal fibre than uses a phone line

  @woozle morning

 

so to make sure the card is ok i turned the hotspot on my mobile and i connected my pc to it like its connecting to wifi. and uploads work when connected to my phones hotspot it seems to be when its connecting to the new fibre via wifi

 

update, i turned the router and the fibre box on the wall off and back on, did pc speed test and uploads came back...the once as i did a 2nd speedtest right after and back to near zero :o

If the upload problem only shows up when this Wi-Fi card is connected to that router, then maybe do a search on the Internet for this particular combination.

These Intel AX210 modules are very popular (both, directly installed in laptop computers and also mounted on add-on cards for desktop computers) and there must be other users who also use the Intel AX210 in combination with your ISP's router model.
