Model: Archer AX55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 Build 20230603 rel.46473(4555)

  Hello, I have a tp llink ax-55 v1 router.
I am satisfied, but I have a problem with the USB drive. I can watch movies from it over the network, I can copy the file to my computer via FTP... but I cannot save anything on the USB drive plugged into the router via FTP. I have been granted rights (write and read) as admin. but I can't copy anything to the disk... I have to unplug it, connect it to the computer, copy the files, and plug it back into the router... I've been struggling with this for a year. help

I will also add that admin always has read and write rights, this cannot be changed, but I still do not have the permissions

Hello. I changed the pendrive... and everything works. copying to the disk via ftype also... interesting, because the pendrive works normally on the computer...
another question... what does this BETA software you provided bring? Is it possible to go back to the previous software?

Hi, what is the brand and model no. of your USB hard drive? and the write access doesn't work via both smb and FTP, right?

There is a beta firmware for AX55 V1 here, you could also have a try to see if it makes any difference:

Public Beta for Archer AX55 V1 Supports EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul, DoH&DoT, ECO Mode and More

Hi, glad to hear that the issue has been resolved.

The beta firmware I mentioned added many new features, you could check that post for details.

And the beta firmware is 1.2.6 version, and you could downgrade to other 1.2.X official firmware after installing the beta firmware.
