Deco E4 with X50 Outdoor

Hi,
I have a small network of 3 Deco E4 in my house. Now I would like to extend it to another building on my plot.
To get there I woiuld need to place a Deco in the garden, so I took one of the Deco E4 I already have and brought it outside. Unfortunately it always tries to connect to the Home Deco, which is too far away. It doesnt connect to the satellite which stands close.
After reading a few threads here, I found out, that Deco E44 units always triy to connect to the Home Deco, but with X50 I could choose a satellite to connect to another satellite.
My question is, do I need to replace all my Decos E4 to X50? Or could I add the X50 Outdoor Unit to the E4 network, still beeing able to choose a satellite to connect to, instead of the Main Deco?
