  @Ax73v

Hey.. It took me a couple of days but I finally figured out what was a problem.

I have another tplink range extender (mesh) that was connected to my main router by cable. It seems like with the previous version of firmware it could automatically configure it to be in the access point mode. The newer firmware fails to configure it automatically and it caused this mesh device to be connected both by cable and wirelessly causing flood. Once I forced this extender to be in the access point mode via its settings interface things went back to normal..

May be it is your case also..

Hi, you could also try the beta firmware provided in this thread to see if it solves the problem:

Archer AX73 V1&V2 might reboot automatically when working together with some Range Extenders

Hi, thanks a lot for the feedback.

Normally the access point mode on range extenders needs to be configured manually for both previous firmware and the new firmware, maybe for some reason, your extender working mode was changed back to extender mode.

You could also monitor if there is any further issue, and hope you could enjoy the internet with our products.

Thank you for the guidence!

I`ve update the FW to 1.3.5 Build 20231213 rel.71357(4555) - beta version.

My RE 605x v2 has new FW version 1.0.3 Build 20230907 Rel. 38400.

Should I upgrade or it will affect the service with AX73 and other RE605x V1?

Hi, normally updating firmware for one range extender will not affect the router and other extenders.

  @Sunshine

It was stable for 1 day and a few hours, then reloaded once again and drpped the service.

What could be the next step of investigation?

The setup has AX73 v1, RE 605x v1 and RE 605x v2. Both REs are wirelessly connected.

I have around 45-50 hosts connected via wifi. DHCP reservation list is full as well.

After reload CPU is on 14-24%, RAM on 44%.
