Hi all, I try to make an update to V3 on above Extender but the the unit does not accept the downloaded file type.

Who can help please?

Please tell us the full model description of the extender and also share with us the link to the file you've downloaded.

Hi, thanks for reply. Model is a TL-WA830RE. I downloaded twice but not working.

TL-WA830RE_V3.bz2\ and unzipped then: 830rev3_gpl_code

Sorry, but the GPL code is not meant to be loaded into the device directly. To download a user-upgradeable firmware for the TL-WA830RE you have to click on the button labeled  "Firmware" on TP-Link's support webpage.
